[mythtv-users] Why does my capture card keep disappearing?

Ignore the card numbers for now.
I suspect your problem is that the cards are being detected in a different
order! That confuses myth. Lock down the order using udev rules or modules
tweaking.
Then if it works, you can wipe out all cards to reset the numbering...
