     I posted it to one of the Forums on MythTVtalk the last time
this sort of subject came up over there. Since you have to prime
it with manually collected data (the series title -> series id
mapping), I view it as a bit half baked.

     As far as ripping TV series goes, I don't know of any online
source for that particular data. I manually enter all of my metadata
for that. This is also complicated by the occasional DVD  or DVD set
that doesn't have proper disc names (like Highlander).
