Worse; we keep boxes of the crap.  We don't throw it away, because we 
know we'll need it for something, but it just accumulates.  I have bins 
of the junk, all helpfully labeled "Computer Cables"......  I just gave 
away a MAC AAUI - ethernet adapter, still in its original packaging, 
from, what, 1993????
