I have enabled the idle shutdown in mythbackend. The check script for
the idle shutdown checks the existence of a file. If it exists, then
the shutdown won't happen. When I press the power button, then the
script is removed. When the backend isn't recording anything, the next
occurrance of the idle timeout sets a wakeup time (the next recording)
and shuts down the computer. This way, the backend won't do a shutdown
if there is a recording in progress or scheduled for the next minutes,
and will wake up if there is a recording in the future.
