Ah yes, Focal (FOrmula CALculation). Written by Rick Merril of DEC.
Basically (no pun intended) a clone of Basic, with overtones of Algol.
Took up a little over 3K of the 4K the 8/L had available, leaving about
900 octal locations for your program.
It was written in the PAL-III assembly language IIRC.
Still hate the ASR-33s. We managed to get hold of some 35s, which held
up better.
