Unfortunately, I have the SA3250HD box, not the 6200, there is no GUID
option on that, which your script uses. But that shouldn't be a
problem. Also it uses Broadcast, I use P2P. But it could be modified for
that as well.
I've discovered a few things. I have a program I cobbled together from
online code that sends a power on signal to the box, and another that
sends off, then on. That often seems to help as part of the reset
process, and between your program, which has some good thoughts, and
Benton Roberts' channel changing program, I may have to cobble together
my own program that suits my finicky system.
Still doesn't answer whether or not the recorder failed error could
produce rollover onto an alternate tuner though.
