I think I got the Gigabyte vs Gigabit label wrong, but the general
principle is the same.
For an example, compare your `df -H` to `df -H`
My DVD partition:
mythtv:/home/MythVideo 636G 551G 85G 87% /home/MythVideo
versus
mythtv:/home/MythVideo 682G 591G 92G 87% /home/MythVideo
I'm fairly sure it's the issue of this conversion couple with the
reserved root blocks that's making your space poof.
