Network and DB are the two things I'd look into.  Look at the command
to check the mysql db in the howto.

Make sure your NFS mount is using the proper parameters.

(One time my NFS didn't export on the backend and playback didn't work
as well without it, so make sure it is actually mounted.)

Also, does this happen on all networks (1080i vs 720p) and with
different deinterlacer settings and such?
