I'm using 802.11G, so that shouldn't be a problem. Also, I can see
movies stored in the backend. NFS shares are fast enough on this
machine. To be sure it wasn't the backend or the network, I've
installed the frontend on my laptop (a Fujitsu P1510, core duo T2300,
2GB, 120GB HD, Intel 945GM chipset), and I can watch live TV or saved
recordings without any problem, so it's some config problem on the
frontend. I just need to find out what, and am out of ideas on where
to look.
