[mythtv-users] Video display in Program Guide in wrong location

I am also looking for a solution to this problem. I have tried a number of
setting with no joy. I am running myth under unbuntu feisty. When I got to
the guide, the video window is in the upper left corner and is distorted. It
overlays the program detail information. In the upper right where it would
normally be there is a black box that says loading. If I can get the video
back where it belongs, I would rather turn it off. Obviously this is not a
unique problem. Any assistance is appreciated.

Hey there,

I was wondering if you solved this issue or not? I am experiencing the same
after a fresh install of FC6 and Myth 0.20 from atrpms.

I've gone looking on the net, but found little.

Thanks.

I am running mythtv 0.20-150 (latest as of yesterday)
under Fedora Core 6 on a Shuttle SB65G2 with Hauppauge
PVR-500 card and Nvidia 5200 graphics card. X windows
is set to 800x600 pixels.

When running the Program Guide while watching TV, the
small preview video is showing up the wrong place, in
the upper left of the screen instead of in the
designated place in the upper right part of the
screen. While not fatal, it is a nuisance that is
blocking some of the program information.

Would someone know how to fix this? Is it a matter of
changing the X windows pixel resolution, or changing
one of the many MythTV parameters?

Thanks,

Henry
