Doh - found it!
2007-05-24 21:45:00.409 Set video sync frame interval to 40000
2007-05-24 21:45:00.409 Video sync method can't support double
framerate (refresh rate too low for bob deint)
2007-05-24 21:45:00.450 Set video sync frame interval to 40000
2007-05-24 21:45:00.453 Using deinterlace method onefield
2007-05-24 21:45:00.454 Using audio as timebase
2007-05-24 21:45:00.454 Video timing method: RTC
2007-05-24 21:45:00.454 Refresh rate: 20040, frame interval: 40000
So my refresh rate is slightly bigger than half the frame interval.
xvidtune -show gives:
"1280x720" 74.25 1280 1720 1760 1984 720 725 730 750 +hsync +vsync
Do I just fiddle around with the 74.25 number until I get a refresh
rate less than 20000? Is there any science to how I change it - up,
down, or just trial and error?
