[mythtv-users] Annoying MySQL Error Messages "None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed"

Hello,

I'm a 1 month mythtv user and I am really happy to use the piece of
software.

Almost everything works fine for me, I just have micro-problems that I'm
trying to solve one by one :)
I suspect this one being at the origin of some others.

when I start mythbackend, I have this error message :

rayene at SoHo:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/mythtv-backend start
Starting MythTV server: mythbackendSession management error: Authentication
Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are
supported and host-based authentication failed

But, it works ! I can watch TV, record, modify preferences, etc.

A log of mythbackend may help you to understand the problem although it
did'nt for me.
