[mythtv-users] Can't set resolution for my projector

Hello all,
Sorry this isn't exactly a MythTV issue, but if someone can help or
point me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated!
I have a BenQ W100 projector and am based in the UK (don't know if that
affects anything with refresh rates etc).
I had a stab at setting mod lines last night using these resourses:

but couldn't get anything to work.

But restarting gdm (tried rebooting as well) just takes me back in at
800x600 which is squashed into 16/9
(I don't know why Ubuntu thinks I have a wacom .. I probably should
remove those lines, but focusing on the resolution at the moment).
The native resolution of this monitor is 845x480 (480P), but I've not
heard of anyone getting that resolution out of Linux. I've heard good
things from people managing to get an excelent image by inputting HD
resolutions which is why I tried the above mod lines.
