[mythtv-users] TiVo Convert Experience - HDTV Video Card Recommendation

It is set for:
Capture Card: HDHOMERUN
Scan Type: Full Scan
Freq. Table: Broadcast
ATSC Modulation: Terrestrial (8-VSB)
Channel Separator: 5.1 (Period)
Existing Channel Treatment: Minimal Updates

It seems that when it scans a channel that it should be able to lock, I get
the "-- no tables" error. I did a sanity check and installed the
hdhomerun/vlc setup in Windows and it works perfectly. It was great to see
this unit works and works beautifully. What else could be causing this in
MythTV? I know there are a lot of people on this list who it is working for.

Looks like they are broadcasting in 8vsb (something I don't know
about...but...you are getting HD signals). try re-scanning with
mythtv-setup and select the 8vsb option instead of qam...
