    I'm assuming this is an upgrade from an previous distro?  The 
problem could be that you're upgrading from an old ivtv driver to the 
0.10 version in Ubuntu 7.04.  The old tuner device was named "Tuner" and 
it is now "Tuner 1".  MythTV selects the input by name and when tries to 
find the device it can't.  I edited it manually in my database, but I'm 
pretty sure you can just go through the mythtv-setup for the card again 
and select the input with the GUI.

    If that's not the case, try running the backend with verbose logging 
and look for an error message.
