Even though you got it sorted, I had a little look at your old DB
backup and found the following:

Capture Card (cardid) -> Card Input (cardinputid) -> Video Source (sourceid):

MPEG (1) -> Tuner 1 (1) -> Cable (1) - channels 2-78
MPEG (2) -> Tuner 1 (2) -> Cable (1) - channels 2-78

DVB (3) -> Television (4) -> Cable (1) - channels 2-78
DVB (3) -> DVBInput (5) -> Digital Cable (2) - channels 2-78 plus 80(4
subs), 85 ,86(2 identical sub channels)

V4L (4) -> Unconnected

Listings:

Listings for channels 2-78 (less 34) on sources 1 and 2. No listings
for extra 80+ channels.

Having nothing connected to the V4L card should not have impacted
MythTV, as there are no listings attached to it for the scheduler to
use, nor any defined inputs to change to.

I think the problem is the DVBInput having regular channels associated
with it in addition to the 7 digital ones above channel 79 (did you
scan for these manually in mythtv-setup?). If you wanted to use the
digital ATSC with the DVBInput I do not think you should have
configured the Digital Cable source and attached it to the DVB card,
but should have scanned for channels or imported an existing
channels.conf.

Do you have a PVR-500 and a HD card in the system?
