That will only be an issue if you're running mythfrontend or mythbackend 
in an environment with no HOME environment variable (i.e. from a broken 
init script or something).  I'm pretty sure Axel has fixed the ATrpms 
packages (based on previous discussion in the thread in which 
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/231687#231687 
appears), but I can't guarantee it.

(Oh, and if all your start scripts are correct, the right thing to do is 
to remove /.mythtv (and /.qt).  Axel had mentioned that he planned to 
make the packages take care of that, too.)
