ok, going the source route I had to compile libprojectM and install
it, then compile libvisual-projectm and install that (it found the
correct directories for everything), then I restarted mythfrontend,
went to the mythmusic setup and... there it i!s!!

yay, thanks guys! works great, now just need to figure out how to "tune" it =)
