Sounds like one of your files got corrupted. Not sure where to tell you 
to look. I had a similar thing happen to me in that myth would not start 
after a crash. Found that somehow my .mythtv/mysql.txt had gotten 
reverted to an earlier version that pointed to a different server. 
Perhaps something like that happened to you?  Perhaps .asourndrc or 
other config file thats normally opened during loading?
