Hello,

thank you, Guillaume. I opened the ports you said you opened, but no success.

the mythbackend.log has this to say:

2007-05-02 09:38:58.001 MainServer::HandleAnnounce Playback
2007-05-02 09:38:58.005 adding: teevee as a client (events: 0)
2007-05-02 09:38:58.081 TVRec(4): Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
2007-05-02 09:38:58.122 TVRec(4): HW Tuner: 4->4
2007-05-02 09:38:59.256 FBChan(4): Loaded 278 channels from
http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u
2007-05-02 09:38:59.361 RTSPData:Failed to setup: video MP2T : SETUP:
cannot handle response: RTSP/1.0 454 Session Not Found

I tracked the error message down to the RTSPComms::Open method in
/libs/libmythtv/rtspcomms.cpp, line 242 (in the 0.20 branch).

I still think that this is due to a ports issue, as it works fine with
vlc (and the error message was the same in vlc when the ports were not
open). However, not being a C++ programmer nor an RTSP expert, I have
trouble finding the spot where the ports are defined.

If anybody, and in particular the programmers of the freebox
extension, Laurent Arnal, Benjamin Lerman & Mickaël Remars, have an
idea what to do, I would be more than grateful.
