I understood that the current legislation compelled the Radio Times to
publish the information for personal use free of charge, and prevents
other organisations publishing it without a license.  Actually that
suits my mythtv use perfectly in that:

a)  It provides the information freely.
b)  It puts all the information in one place.

I realise that if radio times are not listing certain channels then
that's a problem.  What channels aren't they listing?

I can't argue with the words in the petition but it seems to me that,
at the moment we've got an excellent xmltv listing for free, and
opening the market up may in fact lead to commercialising it.

Just my view.
