[mythtv-users] Mapping HD TV-Guide

I'm sure this is an old subject, but I have not found a good stepped
process for mapping HD channels to the xmltv TV guide.

I have added the tuner card and done the channel scan where I find that
every scanner seems to find different channels. I have run xmltv to get
an xml file to find the xmltvid numbers. But it seems that it is not
that easy with this information to map the channels to the guide.
