[mythtv-users] Debian "etch" and MythTV

I'm pretty much a newbie to MythTV, and I'm subscribed to this list. 

I've seen a lot of posts about difficulty installing MythTV on other Linux 
platforms, but I'dlike to say here that Debian "etch" makes it very easy, and 
for me, the most difficult part was getting mysql working.
"Apt" makes it simple to resolve dependencies.

If I knew more about mysql, the whole procedure would have been much simpler, 
but I'd definitely recommend Debian "Etch" as a foundation for this 
apparently difficult to install, but really cool program MyhtTV.
