[mythtv-users] Is "killall mythfrontend" safe?

How would the problem manifest? I'm be doing dual screen thing for two days
and have not noticed any problem. I'm not using opengl for the paint
engine. I like the snap of the basic engine. I'm not into waiting for
fades.
The reason I even asked the question in the first place was I was worried
about data corruption of orphaned memory that might be caused by a kill.

Running killall mythfrontend is safe, you don't need to worry about
that. What is your solution to getting the video overlay available on
the second screen?
