ack! you want to limit the change to the mythconverg db, so the command becomes: 

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON mythconverg.* TO 'mythtv'@'192.168.0.102' IDENTIFIED BY 'some_pass' WITH GRANT OPTION; 
flush privileges;
