[mythtv-users] Linux noob needs help troubleshooting myth plug-in problems

install phpmyadmin or a local client (I use emma on my linux desktop)
to check the sql.

This really just sounds like a setup problem.  For mythmusic you need
to scan the music then set your playlist to all music in order to see
it.  If it says its scanning, and it takes awhile, I'd imagine that
part is fine.  Doublecheck your settings.


The only thing I can think of is if your whole myth install is just
borked to begin with.
