A temporary solution to this issue is to use '/bin/true' as the
channel change command until your IR blaster is installed. This will
return 'true' to the channel change call, and even though no actual
channel changing occurs, MythTV is none the wiser. You will obviously
have to manually change channels on the satellite box, but this should
get your recording.

Once your IR blaster has arrived, you'll need to specify a real
channel change script so that your MythTV box can control channel
changing on the satellite box.
