[mythtv-users] Unichrome w/ Openchrome & XvMC: OSD grayscale only?

My Myth box is EPIA SP based.  I have the Openchrome drivers working,
and the appropriate XvMC libs installed.  Now, when I have MythTV set
to use "Via XvMC" as preferred MPEG2 decoder, it works great... the
machine uses less than 20% CPU when playing MPEG2 and playback is
mostly very smooth... /but/ the OSD comes up grayscale only and
subtitles are white.

With XvMC mode turned off I get a color OSD and yellow subtitles.
(But playback is not always smooth)

Is this a known problem?  Is there a solution/workaround?  The grayscale
OSD is no big deal, but Yellow subtitles are far more readable than the
white ones.
