[mythtv-users] can't play .18.1 recordings on .20 system

Are the recordings in an identical location on the new box?

Do they have valid owner and group permissiions.

Either of the above should be easy to fix.

Otherwise, is the hostname and/or IP address of the new box the same
as on the old one?  If not you may need to change these in the
database, to match the new settings.  There are instructions for this
in the documentation, I believe.
