[mythtv-users] using both firewire and svideo

Hi,
I recently got a dct 6200 from comcast, and after setting up the 
computer to grab video from the firewire, I discovered that all of the 
analog channels are coming into the box in digital format and out the 
firewire also. So I decided to use the firewire as my primary recorder 
in myth.

The only problem is that certain channels are encrypted, so I need to 
use svideo for those. However, the picture quality over firewire is much 
better, so I don't want to record all channels over svideo, just the 
ones I have to. Since mythbackend correctly sees the svideo and firewire 
as two separate tuners, it wants to record something over the svideo and 
firewire at the same time sometimes and doesn't detect any conflicts or 
warn me about it. I know this is actually correct behavior, but has 
anyone set up a work-around or something to get it to treat svideo and 
firewire as sort of the same tuner, and switch to svideo for say 
channels > 100, and use firewire for channels < 100?
