I dont see an overscan setting.... is it near the top of the screen? If so,
then it's likely covered up due to my overscan (within 50-75px of the top
menubar is at the top)
I saw this setting somewhere.... maybe it's just for monitors? o_0

The image is shaky... it isn't stable and I can see flickering with my
periphial vision ouside of mythTV (in the Gnome GUI)
