Any system messages at all? Have you tried enabling Alt-SysRq and
seeing if those keys respond?

What does mythbackend report when it crashes?

Both the hard-locks and backend crashes?

Have you tried removing the PVR-150 and running only the HDHomeRun?
The ivtv driver has been a source of hard-locks for many people.

What filesystem are you running? How long have you run memtest?
