If you have transcode installed:
avimerge -c -o /path/to/fullmovie.avi -i /path/to/part1.avi 
path/to/part2.avi

The above can also be accomplished w/ mencoder, however I cannot recall 
the exact parameters at the moment.  Google should be able to help.
