That's a DVB-t card so you get whatever the broadcaster sends you. There
is no way to change the recording parameters. Many UK broadcasters use
resolutions that aren't DVD compliant so you either re-encode them so
they are, which can take a long time, or you choose not to re-encode and
take the chance that every player you are likely to use will play them
back without problems. I think most players these days will play just
about anything so long as it's within certain limits so it shouldn't be
a problem.
