[mythtv-users] Unusual Audio/Video lag on an AMD64 3000+

still won't work....

I get the same error I believe o_0

I know that the lag is directly related to MythTV; the videos play fine in 
Xine.

OTOH, since you're running a Fedora derivative, I'd try "yum -y
install perl-TimeDate"
