Yeah.  There is another forum I (very reluctantly) read in which the
forum "owner" will squash any efforts to try to create alternative
methods of discussion.

I pondered for a moment why he would do this.  What did he care?  And
then I saw all the flashing advertising crap surrounding the actual
forum on his site.  Of course he justifies his advertising rates by
siloing people into his forum and killing efforts to take discussions
elsewhere.

Just one more reason I hate forums, as if I needed any more of them.
