I'll take the lack of response to this question that the info is probably
wrong/inaccurate?
Alternatively, I'm wondering whether HDMI capable STBs and DVD players also
calculate the (equivalent) modeline based on the TV's EDID info, or just use
some inbuilt timing information for the common formats (720p, 1080i, 1080p).
Anyone know anything about this, or have some standard HD modelines that
should work on most HDMI inputs.
It seems TV manufacturers made a mess of DVI (with all the incorrect EDID
infos), wonder whether it's the same with HDMI.
I'm looking for info before my HDMI capable graphics card arrives (which may
not be any time soon, as I've already been sent 2 which were the wrong
version (non HDMI out, only DVI, which meant no audio), and am having to
import one from the US (to the UK)...).
