It is possible that your computer clock is off by a bit. It is also 
possible that the broadcast station is off by a bit. This is very common 
in some parts of the world. One way around it is to start the recording 
a few minutes early and edit the cut points with the built in editor. 
(Under the Z key on my keyboard.)

Depending on your linux distro you may have a way to automatically sync 
your clock to the internet time service at pool.ntp.org.
