Sounds wonderful. I've always wanted to blow it up (guess that makes me a
"Linux terrorist" -- he-LLO Homeland Security).

My $.02 -- dual boots are nice for the transition, but in an appliance
like Myth I suspect you'd never find yourself in the windoze OS. Having an
NT or FAT32 partition (no bigger than the largest file you expect to have
there) can make some sense for some applications, but for storage
purposes, windoze files can be kept on and recovered from ext3 just fine.
Many files (like ISOs) are the same format wherever they reside.

Bottom line for me has been the only time I have Linux R/W to a M$
partition is when I have an old M$ HD I want to transfer valuable stuff
off of, and on USB stick drives so I can transfer stuff from work to home
and vice versa.

Oh, and I have a FAT32 stick drive on my key chain with putty on it so I
can log into home from a windoze box. That's come in handy more than once.

Welcome to the Light Side.
