In case anyone is interested I had a look for the dimensions for these... 

[1] says that the Asus EN7600GS Top Silent is 170mm long, though it looks a 
bit different from the pics on the Asus site, and I'm not sure the heatpipe 
is included.

[2] claims that the HP 840b is an LG GSA-4166B which are apparently 165mm long 
though I don't know whether this includes the bezel.

As far as I could find the LGs were the shortest regular drives at 165mm, 
Lite-Ons were 170mm, and most other brands were 184mm - 194mm.


It sounds to me that Silverstone is optimistic using a length of 160mm for the 
drive, but the 7600GS seems to be quite short so I guess Remy's got about a 
50mm gap.
