A few things I've also discovered, relating specifically to waking up from RAM:

The ivtv drivers must be reloaded, as well as mythbackend.
Surprisingly, neither X nor the nvidia drivers have been a problem.

There is a problem relating to DVD drives with at least two
motherboards that I know of (both Asus) after waking up the system.
Several DVD drives resulted in a total system lockup when accessed,
while one failed more gracefully by permanently disabling DMA, making
it too slow to watch DVDs. This problem was still occuring as of
kernel 2.6.21, but seems to have been fixed completely with 2.6.22.
