CentOS is a free release of RedHat Enterprise Linux. For most intents
and purposes, CentOS5 is RHEL5 (and CentOS4.5 is RHEL4.5 etc.). I just
like it because most of my clients run either CentOS or RHEL so it makes
stuff simpler for me. It's also likely to be supported for longer than
the lifetime of the myth machines I'm installing, but I tend not to
fiddle with them anyway once they work so that's not a big deal in this
case (the current machine that I'm working on replacing at the moment is
running FC3 for instance).

In general, any of the atrpms built for RHEL will install on CentOS
without any drama.
