[mythtv-users] Problems with the Remote

I built a MythTV on Fedora Core 6 using Jarod's instructions, which are 
excellent.  My capture card is a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150.  The remote 
that came with that seems to be the PVR-350 remote with a full set of 
buttons (http://www.hauppauge.com/images/pvr150_board+remote-b.jpg).  It 
is not the MCE version which connects via USB.  My output card is a 
GEForce 6600. 

Everything is working, for the most part.  I can view shows, record 
shows, watch recorded shows and even view imported video streams.

My problem is the remote.  I've tried just about everything I can find.  
I'm using the lircd.conf for the Hauppauge remote verified from the 
installation files and also from the web at the lircd site.  In the 
mythtv user directory I have the .lircrc file, also from the 
.../remotes/hauppauge subdirectory.

Although some of the buttons work OK, many (or most) do not.  For 
example the channel up and down buttons don't work.  The guide button 
doesn't work.  The list goes on but you get the idea. 

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I've done wrong?  I've read the 
lirc pages but can't figure out the structure enough to modify the files 
with any hope of success. 

Thanks for any help or suggestions, including some troubleshooting steps
