Not sure what "bridge" is needed. Video is streamed, myth should play it :-)

mythstream is the solution at this stage, which unfortunately doesn't
"converge" with the normal myth-tv-recording operation.

We also have to distinguish "live" streaming, where there may only be one
chance to capture a stream (analagous a TV programme) and "on demand"
where the material may be available at "any time" - or for a defined
period (this includes vidcasts). The live stuff is amenable to
incorporation into the main t watching/recording scenario, including EPG.
The latter wouldn't, and probably fits into mythstream better.
