My guess is you've ended up on a newer version of Xorg since your
rebuild.  These turn on Xinerama automatically, and mythfrontend can
no longer be sure the aspect ratios reported to it are correct because
of the multiple monitors.  If you go into the Setup-> Appearance
screens there should be an option to set the monitor's aspect ratio if
Xinerama is indeed on
