A power supply replacement didn't do the trick. I tried two other (higher
quality power supplies) and nothing changed.  At this point, I felt like
I was banging my head against the wall....

I ended up finding an old Dell to throw the PVR-500 into...After some
finagling with software, the card worked beautifully, both alone and with
both cards in the box.

I'll enjoy my three tuners!  Thanks for all the recommendations...
