[mythtv-users] Any have an xorg.conf for NVIDIA that uses a special ModeLine?

I don't really understand this yet, but I think:

is saying that recent version of the nvidia driver will use EDID
compatible configurations (from the mode pool), unless specifically
told otherwise. So disable EDID and you may start to have some luck.
I tried (and failed) to set up a widescreen modeline for my CRT but in
the end discovered that, since I'm using SVideo, I'm better of using
one of the mode pool 4:3 modes; so I gave up.
