Thanks for the tip!  That's a very useful script.  So now I have old
programs cleaned out but I'm still not recording anything.  The program
guide under schedule recordings is empty except for "Unknown (Unknown)" next
to every channel.  I ran mythfilldatabase again to be sure everything is
working OK there, and it ran normally.  So what can I do to get the program
guide re-populated?
