[mythtv-users] How do I change Frontend timeout on slow MacOS X machine?

I have a G4/400 PowerBook that lives in the kitchen. When I was
running Myth 0.18 it would happily playback video/liveTV (with the
occasional stutter). However, with 0.20 it fails to display video:
when I select a recording or 'Watch LiveTV' the screen goes black for
20 seconds and then the menu screen returns
A frontend running on a G4/1.33Ghz PowerBook plays back video fine.
The logs from the G4/400 suggest there it is a timeout problem (see
below), assuming it is, how do I change the timeouts?
I have searched the web and mailing lists and found this reference to
changing the timeouts,(Last email of 3 in http://www.gossamer-
threads.com/lists/engine?
do=post_view_printable;post=170259;list=mythtv) but the email does
not say where I can find the timeout figures to change them, and I
cannot find them in either the Frontend or Backend set up screens. Do
I need to edit code and recompile - and if so which bit of code do I
need to edit?
Thanks in advance for all/any help,
Steve
