So I'm finally upgrading both of my frontend ASUS pundits to Fedora Core 6 with Jarod's guide [which is excellent] but I run into the following section that can't be right anymore:

http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php#video [Expand the SiS section]
> $ wget http://www.winischhofer.net/sis/sis_drv.o_xorg_gcc3_current.tar.gz
> ...
> # mv /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/sis_drv.o /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/sis_drv.o.orig
> # cp sis_drv.o /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/sis_drv.o

The .../lib/modules/drivers/ directories aren't present and creating a directory for them obviously won't solve the issue. What I've learned from linux comes mainly from the 3-4 years of having myth and reading Jarod's guide, but this one escapes me.

I've read and googled quite a bit about the binary drivers issues with FC6, does this mean that I should just be using FC5 to avoid this problem?

Appreciate any advice. --Paul
